Draw two circles, one for the head and one for the body
Add one arm extended upward, one arm is reaching down
Draw two legs, one leg straight and one leg hent creating a sense of excitement
Trace along the outer edges of the shapes, identifying the lines to keep and those to omit. Refine the body details, and add further definition to the legs and arms.
Begin wrapping bangades around the head, limbs, and body, crisscrossing them.
