How to draw cute Stitch and Lilo

Step 1

Sketch the Basic Shapes

Draw a circle for the head and a small oval below for the body. Add a vertical and horizontal guideline on the face to help place features later.

Add the Ears

Sketch two large oval ears on both sides of the head. Keep them symmetrical and wide – Stitch’s ears are iconic!

Add the Neck and Tail

Add a small curve for the neck and a tiny bump behind the body for his little tail.

Draw the Arms

Add two short arm shapes curving outward from the body. Keep them soft and rounded for that chibi look.

Sketch the Legs

Draw a small oval at the bottom for a foot guide, then sketch the outline of the feet and lower legs.

Shape the Body

Draw big curved arms with rounded paws, add hints of claws on the feet, and fluff on top of the head. Time to clean up the outline too!

Draw a wide open mouth with a big happy smile and Stitch’s signature nose above.

Add two big oval eyes, and draw tiny pointy teeth inside the smile (cute ones, not scary!).

Sketch in Stitch’s back and chest markings – just a few wiggly shapes to finish off the look.

Color Time!

Time to bring him to life! Use:

  • Blue for the body
  • Darker blue for back patches
  • Pink for inside the ears
  • Red tongue and black eyes
