Ever wanted to draw a super long, super cute dog in kawaii style? You’re in the right place! This easy step-by-step guide will help you draw a sausage-shaped pup that’s full of charm. No experience? No problem — just follow the shapes and have fun!

Start with an oval – this will be the head of your long dog. Keep it slightly vertical for a cute look.
Next, add two small oval shapes for ears on each side of the head. They should slightly overlap the head outline.
Draw a trapezoid right under the head to form the neck. Make the top part narrower than the bottom. Then, attach a rounded rectangle behind it — this becomes the long body of the dog.
Add the front legs using two simple U-shaped lines placed beneath the neck area.
Sketch the back legs using similar curves. Place them at the end of the body to balance the shape.
Add a tilted ellipse for the tail at the back. This gives your pup that classic waggy look.
Go over the outer lines with smooth, soft curves to define the final outline of your long dog.
