Step 1
Draw an ellipse shape for the head of the cute fat dog
Begin by sketching a horizontal oval shape to form the dog’s large, round head.
Step 2
Draw two ellipse shape for the ears of fat dog
Next, add two long ovals on each side of the head for the ears. Let them overlap the head slightly.
Step 3
Drawing a big ellipse shape for the fat dog body
Draw a bigger ellipse beneath the head. This will be the body — make sure it overlaps the bottom part of the head.
Step 4
Add the fat dog's front legs
Add the front legs by drawing two curved U-shapes at the bottom of the body, spaced evenly apart.
Step 5
Add the dog's behind legs
Draw two more curves right behind the front legs to show the hind legs.

Draw an ellipse shape for the tail of fat dog
On the right side, sketch a small oval to form the fluffy tail.

Follow the outer most contours of the original
Now, trace along the outer edges of your sketch to build the full outline. Use soft, rounded lines to keep the look cuddly and clean.

Erase original lines, add facial and blush cheek of kawaii fat dog
Erase all the guide lines. Then, add the face — cute eyes, a button nose, and a smile. Don’t forget those blushing cheeks!

Color your fat dog
